Why I'm Running:

I think our union needs a more forward thinking leadership that is willing to tackle the many issues that we are encountering in our schools. We need to help our membership develop a true sense of community and ensure that our members have the skills they need to advocate for themselves.

Leadership Experience:

I've joined DCPS fairly recently and am proud to be the Delegate Rep at our school. I'm also part of Library Core for DCPS and recently joined An Open Books Advisory Council.

Position Description I am running for

• Engage with members
• Keep apprised of matters involving the union
• Attend Area Vice President committee meetings
