Why I'm Running:
I’m running for the Washington Teachers Union High School Representative position because I believe every teacher deserves a strong voice in the decisions that impact our classrooms and our profession. As educators, we are on the frontlines every day, and yet too often our voices go unheard when it comes to important decisions about our working conditions, compensation, and the resources we need to succeed.
My goal is to amplify those voices at the union table. I want to make sure that the concerns, ideas, and challenges of our high school educators are represented in every conversation. Whether it’s fighting for fair pay, advocating for smaller class sizes, or ensuring that we have the support and resources to be the best educators we can be, I’m committed to standing up for what our teachers need.
Leadership Experience:
President of the Brightwood Community Association, LSAT Chairperson, Participated in rallies, Member of Personnel Committee for Eastern Sr. High, Co-Creator of an informal retirement club at Eastern Sr. High
Position Description I am running for
• Engage with members
• Keep apprised of matters involving the union
