Why I'm Running:

Through beginning to organize with special education teachers around issues facing our self contained classrooms I’ve been amazed by the potential we bring to this work. I’m looking forward to build a strong network for our special education teachers and Union as a whole to work toward change in the issues we care about.

Leadership Experience:

Current Member At Large, Elementary School on the WTU Executive Board (Elected 2022)
Former Building Rep at Tubman ES

Position Description I am running for

• Chair committees for their area
• Make reports to the Executive Board
• Assist Building Reps and SCAC with enforcement and knowledge of the contract
• Keep apprised of matters involving their area
• Attending meetings with Central Administration officials that affect their groups
